LTVSP Application in Malaysia: Foreigner Spouse/Malaysian Husband
I created this guide to help all couples applying for LTVSP in JB, Malaysia. I hope this can be a good help to others especially if your situation is the same as mine. I am a Filipino national and my husband is Malaysian. We decided to get married in Singapore as it's the fastest and easiest way to have our civil wedding. My husband is working in Singapore with a Work permit pass while I am a tourist/foreigner holding short term/social visit pass at that time. We got married and received our Singapore Marriage Certificate in July 2022. We went to High Commission of Malaysia, Singapore for marriage registration. (https://www.kln.gov.my/web/sgp_singapore/birth_marriage_cert) We were able to complete the requirements within the day. (Please check the website for the marriage registration requirements.)
